The foundation was laid 28 years ago by Mr. Asgarali Lokhandwala (the Chairman’s father) who glided into business by opening up a retail shop of construction material in Bhavnagar, a District Town in Gujarat India under the name of ‘Saurashtra Sanitary Stores’.

Success came as the years passed and in the year 1999 with a vision to enter the global market and carter the products world-wide the group launched an export unit under the name of ‘Murtuza Exports’- A registered company as per company’s act 1956 and a registered exporter duly approved by RBI. We are proud to state that at present we hold two reputed companies and a global country wide dealer network. Our companies are:-

Murtuza Exports is a fast emerging firm in the fields of exports. We export building hardware, stationary and paper. We are presently exporting and having sole agents in Australia, UAE Kenya and Sri Lanka. Initially we were only into exports; we started the imports division in the year 2001. In this few years our import team has gained a tremendous success. We import ceramic tiles, wood logs, old corrugated cartons (OCC), offset printing paper and brass metal scrap. We are members of the Federation of Indian Export Organization (FIEO), The Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) and the Saurashtra Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI).
