At present,2.8 million yews have been inseminated on the 1300mu artificial Chinese yews developing base of Duchuan village Qiaoshang Town Fang county. This is the biggest  base of artificial Chinese yew of the whole country until now, it is also another new project that developed by the industry of forestry of Fang County.This project was built at the cost of Chinese Qinlong group,the whole investment is up to more than 80 million yuan,the first developing base take up an area of 1300 mu ,invested more than 10 million yuan.

The Chinese yew has anther name called Japanese yew,is endangered varieties of trees of world. The Japanese yew alcohol refining can treat the cancer from its branch and leaf , bark and root. It was praised as one of the three first-selected medicines of cancer,since be pass to be uesed as medicament by  American Food and Drug Administration in December of 1992. According to relevant materials, at present, each kilogram market price of Japanese yew alcohol is up to 3 million - 4 million dollars, the annual requirement is in 1920-4800 kilograms. Relevant experts point out: "The outlet of industrialization of the Chinese yew lies in cultivating artificially . Otherwise, resources of the wild Chinese yew will exterminate soon ".
In order to develop the Chinese yew industry, Chinese Qinlong group applies for the registration of Hubei Chinese yew biotechnology Development Co., Ltd., engage the famous meteorological expert Ni GuoYu , forest to beed experts Dai zhenlong set up the Duchuan Chinese graduate school. This company plans to regard Du Sichuan as the centre, 3 villages of radiation bridge , west level ground , east level ground, develop raw materials 666.667 hectares of forest of the Chinese yew, form two major competitive products of yellow rice or millet wine of health care of pure and mild Chinese yew of Japanese yew. It is reported , each mu can obtain net income of 1000 yuan to plant peasant households of the Chinese yew.
