He says , the cabinet makes this decision at the meeting held in June, comes into force. Though the government has already stopped granting the rubber wood and exporting the permission in an all-round way, is exported 44 companies of the permission before this, still get permission to continue exporting the rubber wood before December 31 this year, export the quota of the remaining rubber wood to use up . That is to say , from January 1 , 2006 , the rubber wood of Malaysia will be prohibitted exporting. The rubber wood in Malaysia produces the persons who only supply the local furniture industry .Chen HuaGui says , the export furniture of 80% of Malaysia is made of rubber wood, the furniture industry grows vigorously in recent years, make the demand for the rubber wood increase, the price of the rubber wood rises suddenly and violently too.
At present, rubber wood of Malaysia export reach China's Mainland , Vietnam , China Taiwan and Europe mainly. This is the measure that a Malaysian government forbids the rubber wood to export for the first time.
