According to the news that the international association of tropical forest sends out recently, after 20 years of development, the rubber wood has already become the first-selected raw materials of Malaysian furniture industry and the shaving board and fibreboard .It is estimated , the annual output of rubber timber in the country in Southeast Asia exceeds 65 million cubic meters, most rubber wood is processed into sawing the material, make into the furniture finally .

Wooden furniture , rubber of Malaysia , account for more than  80% , export of furniture, annual rubber wooden export output value up to 1,100 million dollars now .There is extensive rubber wooden furniture industry too in Thailand, annual export output value is up to 300 million dollars .Only in Malaysia, the rubber wood is the raw materials of 8 shaving board factories and 10 mid-density board processing factory .

In Thailand, the rubber wood is the raw materials of the biggest shaving board factory in this area, its output of annual shaving board is up to 750,000 cubic meters. The  mid-density board processing factory is as the raw materials with the rubber wood too in several of Thailand. Though is expecting the wooden timber industry of rubber grows vigorously , but the supply and price of the rubber wood fluctuate and make the way forward uneven .
