| “Green Building Materials” is Springing Up in China |

With the successful application of World Expo 2010 Shanghai and the approaching of Beijing Olympic Games, a trend that advocates using “Green Building Materials” is springing up in China domestic construction industry. Among them, relying on American-European sustainable development to manufacture whole set wood structural construction ranks the first. Many enterprises from America, Sweden, New Zealand, Russia and Canada who own abundant timber resources are starting to find partners in China，aiming to prepare for opening Chinese market. The representatives of American Forest & Paper Association have been actively visiting some large and medium cities of China, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dalian. They investigate the market and recommend the whole set green wood structural constructions and concerned wood products. At the same time, uniting the American Chamber of Commerce, U.S.A. Embassies in China, the Evergreen Building Products Association of America, they held several seminars about development of forestry products and further discuss the development theory and construction standard of whole set timberwork construction with Chinese experts, construction traders and real estate developers. New opportunities and standard will expedite the development of the new market. Under such circumstances and depending on the sustainable forest, the whole set wood structure building market is being started up fitly in China.
