HELSINKI, April 14 (Reuters) - Finnish papermaker UPM-Kymmene (UPM1V.HE) said on Tuesday it would cut 110 jobs and temporarily lay off 320 more staff due to "further weakened" plywood market conditions.
The firm said the permanent job cuts would come at its Lahti plywood processing site. It said the temporary layoffs, which will last for more than 90 days, would be at its Kaukas plywood mill in Lappeenranta and affect all staff there. |
